PRIVATE CARE= FUNCTIONAL INTEGRATION

an example of what a lesson can look like
Functional Integration® is how we work one-on-one with clients.
Functional Integration is a hands-on form of tactile, kinesthetic communication. I communicate to the client how he/she organizes his/her body and hint, through gentle touching and movement, how to move in more expanded functional motor patterns.
The client experiences deeper relaxation, easier movement and calmer breathing.

This is an example of a private session where I use rollers.

This is a lesson using rollers to access the hip joints and lower back.
Functional Integration is usually performed with the person lying on a table designed specifically for the work. It can also be done in sitting or standing positions. At times, various props (such as rollers shown here) are used in an effort to support the person’s body configuration or to facilitate certain movements.
The idea is to convey the experience of comfort, pleasure, and ease of movement while the client learns how to reorganize his/her body and behavior in new and more effective manners.
