                    A Feldenkrais and Yoga Workshop to Improve Flexibility in your 
                    Back and Shoulders

                    A healthy spine is a key to a healthy body. This 2.5 hour workshop will help you tap into gentle ways to improve flexibility in your back and shoulders. Developing this essential back bending pose in yoga will help you transition smoothly to other poses.  Since back bending poses are generally the most difficult in yoga, it can be beneficial to approach the pose gently and safely through the Feldenkrais Method.

                     

                    Join Fariya Doctor, Certified Feldenkrais Practitioner, and Carol Prentice, Certified Yoga Instructor, for this engaging workshop that will allow you the freedom to open your heart and your spine!

                    Carol Prentice BA, BSW, CYT

                    Having always been drawn to study the mind, body, spirit connection, Carol’s path has led her to become a certified Yoga Instructor, a certified Personal Trainer and a registered Social Worker. She has been dedicated to her classical Hatha Yoga practice since 2001 and has been teaching Hatha Yoga with devotion since 2006. Meditation and the study of Qi Kung are also a very regular part of her personal practice as well.  She has explored many styles of yoga including Kripalu, Ashtanga, Power Vinyasa, Anusara and the teachings of Dharma Mittra.
