Fariya Doctor, BSc, RMT, GCFP
Fariya has over 18 years of experience in dealing with the art and science of healing the body. She is an experienced Registered Massage Therapist and a Feldenkrais Practitioner ® .
She has a Bachelor of Science degree at McMaster University (1990), a Massage Therapy Diploma at Sutherland-Chan Massage School (1993), and is a Guild Certified Feldenkrais Practitioner (2004). She has continuously advanced her knowledge in Bodywork, taking courses and workshops yearly.
Fariya is an active member of the Registered Massage Therapist Association of Ontario ,(RMTAO), and the Feldenkrais Guild of North America.
She has volunteered and served on the Executive Committee of the Niagara Area Business Women's Network (NABWN), the OMTA and her local Massage Therapy Chapter.
Fariya's practice involves working with individuals who want to improve their quality of life.
This includes people with arthritis, back pain, headaches, those recovering from surgery, stroke, chronic conditions, and joint related pain.
She also works with babies who have motor development issues, and with mothers who are having musculoskeletal problems during and after pregnancy.
